I rely on sources that I trust -- either mainstream news or individual expert types who really know their stuff. There's honest disagreement about whether AI is as dangerous as some people say it will be, but the stuff in this post is all pretty much agreed upon fact. Even pro-AI folks say there are problems with bias, incomplete training data, overuse, lack of transparency, etc.
What I'm waiting for is for somebody to try and make this political and partisan, the way they do with everything else. I think the RWNJs (right wing nut jobs) either don't understand it, or want to use AI for their own nefarious purposes. They claim to hate "Big Tech," but boy, they sure do love to use it.
How do you even know who/what to believe when writing about this?
