Hmmmm...just have to wonder if there are male equivalents of CarynAI and Hyacinth...and how much revenue those AIs generate.

What does this say about the ongoing need our society has to strip women of any sense of agency or value beyond the role of a modern day Stepford Wife (or in this case, a Her come to life)—objectifying them as pixel-based diversions for lonely 'men,' manifesting in these beyond humanly-perfect technology surrogates, which have clearly been designed to fawn and meet their male subscribers' every whim and fantasy of the perfect concubine...

Perhaps this is why there's so much hatred for the transgender and Drag Queens; they shatter the illusion that so many men hold regarding an ideal 'woman' who holds (ideally) nothing but a servile, "lesser sex" role in their binary, heteronormative world view.

There are male versions of these bot companions as well. (I actually created one using Replika, another one of these apps.) I would guess they don't get nearly the amount of traction that the female ones do. Pretty much the same all over the Internet, live or bot. How many famous male 'influencers' have you heard of? (The XY equivalents are the obnoxious, self proclaimed "alpha male" right wing trolls on Twitter -- another form of stereotype.)

As for trans and drag, my theory is that they are in the crosshairs because the fascists are desperate to demonize somebody in order to rile up their base, and gay folks don't really do it for them any more -- they've been too normalized. Hence all the BS about 'groomers' and kids going through transition. They have to create a new boogieman in order to keep their supporters enraged and the culture wars burning.

Fascists can't succeed at stoking hatred if there's not a receptive audience (aka fertile ground) for it. The issues of normalization for hate discourse and receptivity to that discourse are distinct/separate matters.
